you know when you're addicted to iowawhitetail when....

1) you check "who's online" just to see if anyone is replying to a thread and you keep hitting the reload button until they have re-posted so you can be the first to read it and reply again!!

2) you check iowawhitetail BEFORE you check your work email.

3) you know/have met more than 2 dozen people and know them by names like Ogz, Limb Chicken, RACKADDICT, Headgear, Ghost Walker, OneCam, vman, LIV4RUT, Ruddbow, HoytUSA, Shovelbuck, KANSAN, huskerinbadgerland, Fishbonker, auggie, Shredder, stuffy, moosehunter, bowman, pharmer, Raven, t-t-t-urdypointbuck, madisonB&C, ironwood, etc etc etc...and think that's O-tay!!

4) a dancing banana is your callsign.

I check the site a minimum of 6 times a day. Like the above, this site takes priority over my email and always look forward to new pic posts of big bucks and the stories behind them. Here we are all surrounded by people with a common interest, Big bucks. Great site to visit on a daily basis with gobs of new info......
 
You are on so often that you watch for the approach of the 'significant other' and switch screens real fast so you aren't caught again on Iowa Whitetail.

What a relief, I thought I was the only one who had this much of an illness. Now that everyone else has, I'll admit that I'm on this site five or six times a day. Just something about it that makes want to keep checking back throughout the day. By the way, I'm replying to this post at 1:30 in the morning. That's just not right.

i may not check this out more than some of the moderators but i know for certain i check it before i bike to work, once i get there, a few times before lunch, a few more times after lunch, once i get home from work, a crapload of times before supper, after supper a few times, usually go to the chatroom if i'm home alone. and i'll check it if i'm up hitting the can after hours. here's another one.

5) you don't bother logging out because logging back in wastes too much time of reading and enjoying the site.

how many more different reasons can you guys think of??
 
When you set your alarm 1/2 an hour early so you can check in before work. What am I talking about....I'm on here all day at work too!

I will only admit to being here "alot", spouse wonders if I'm looking at other sites and flipping to this one because I'm here "alot". She is wearing an iowawhitetail.com shirt though

U know your addicted when you start out a sentence to a friend that doesn't get on Iowa Whitetail by saying (Ghost, Muddy, shredder, rack, ogz, shovel, limb or any other member. Your friend has no idea who your talking about but you dont care
6-7 times a day for me whether or not I have time
 
Being addicted is... When my supervisor catches me looking on here and chews me out, then as soon as she leaves my desk - I log right back on.

By the way, when she chewed me out - she actually used the name Iowa Whitetail... that's how many times she's caught me on the site.
