Unused bow tag?

Had 2 people today tell me since they still have their bow tag left, they can use their muzzleloader. It says it in the regs... Can anyone point me in the direction of that? I assume no where and the guys are idiots...

It’s not legal to use muzzy to fill bow tag. But you can use bow to fill late muzzy tag.
Not sure where it’s listed in regs but that’s way it’s been for long time.

it is possible if they are referring to Landowner (LOT) tags.
