Urban bowhunting

There are many cities and suburbs in Iowa that have urban bowhunting. I was wondering where I could get more information on this and where or how do you apply for it. I have searched several cities sites that I know have urban bowhunting but cannot find any information about it.

Every city is different. Some require you to purchase a permit, and jump through all sorts of hoops before you can hunt the local parks/trails and property that the city owns. You can call the city hall and get most of your questions answered. When i was looking into it, i just went to the city's web site, and searched "deer", "deer hunting", "urban hunting", and that answered most of my questions.

You also have to take a class, before you can do urban hunts.
