I just brought my cuddeback home to check the 30 pictures i had on it and it wont turn on. Confused i put new batteries in it and then turn the switch on. Still nothing.

So i get mad and give it acouple of love taps and it finally turned on. The bad news is that I cant look at my pictures or get it to turn back off. So if your considering buying a new cuddeback I would definitely reconsider.

I have been having the same problem with my camera it is the steel piece on the bottom of the batteries. It is not making good contact with the bottom of the batteries for some reason. I plan on fixing it this weekend.

We just bought 2 of these cameras a couple of weeks ago. I thought that part looked cheesy when putting it together.

I really wish they wouldnt have got that far away from the old design.

But yes, that is more than like what your issue is. Make sure the springs at the top of the battery compartment are not smashed or bound up.

The springs inside the camera get flattened out form dropping the batteries into the unit. I foound out the hard way just like you. I took a 90 degree pick and pulled the spring apart.

Be careful not to pull too hard and break the connection.

In the future, slide the batteries in holding the camera horizontal rather than dropping them in.

This should help!

Good Luck!
