video camera for hunting

tip-up

New Member
looking at buying a video camera for bowhunting. Wondering what everyone is using and the benifits of that camera. thanks scott

I am using the sony DCR-TRV27 I bought a couple of years ago and it works great for me. It is miniDV format so I can load it onto my computer and burn DVD's or email clips. You can find them fairly reasonable still on ebay. I also have a DCR-TRV19 I use in my videocam that works well, is lightweight and reasonable priced on ebay as well.

It definitely depends on how much you want to spend, and what exactly you want to use the camera for. The benefits are preserving on tape all your experiences for years to come. I love carrying a videocamera into the woods with me.
