I have been keeping up a video journal for my hunts this year and had a CLOSE opportunity with a upper 140s 10 pointer on Halloween morning.... and blew it, on video..... it doesn't get much easier that that..... but gotta keep on truckin!

Hey man, keep your chin up...at least you had an encounter with a buck that big. The footage is some of the best I've seen this season, with him working the scrape.

Love the video journal idea. Get yourself a small mic because it scares the $hit out of me every time I have my speakers cranked to hear you talking in the stand then it BLASTS off into some awesome video with music.

On a lighter note, the look on your face right after the miss would correspond to what it would look like if you ordered an extra value meal and when you opened the sammich container instead of finding a hamburger you'd find a slab of lettuce.
