This is video from the treestand of a nice 9 pointer i let walk last night. I was covered up in does and would not have been able to draw my bow without getting busted anyway. He was at 25 yards most of the time and it is very thick in this timber and probably wouldn't have had a shot anyway.
I have been filming all my hunts this year and edited this little piece here just for practice. I do have a trailcamera pic of this buck too. It's funny, when he came in i was more worried about finally getting some quality footage of a buck rather than shooting him. There are bigger ones around. Thats the bad part about trailcameras. When i see bigger bucks are around, i tend to hold out for them, even if i have to eat tag soup.
Here is the video. Tell me what you think. Although i think i know what most of you will say. lol.
What do you think he would score? There are bigger around here. I would rather hold out. I just wanted to know what i was passing up.
