I wanted to throw out a quick positive comment for Vortex customer service. I have an older pair of Vortex Typhoon compact binoculars. I found them very cheap online when they were switching to their new styles. These don't even have the intermeshed VTX symbol on them, it's some older previous symbol. Anyway, I called vortex prior to sending them in just to make sure they were IN FACT legitimate vortex brand binoculars since the symbol wasnt the same. The guy told they were and they'd fix them for me. I sent them in and about two weeks later, they came back with a list of things done (basically just tightened some stuff up that was allowing the lenses to move). On the bottom of the list all it said was "no charge". Can't complain about that one especially considering I only paid $35 for them!!! Very a small compact binocular, they are the best I've ever had.
