Vote for bowhunt at Shawnee Mission Park in Kansas

Click on the link to vote, as I am sure the city council will follow the public opinion closely. They estimate there is 200+ deer per square mile at the park which is unheard of!!!

Even if we don't hunt in KS, it never hurts to support others and get that back in return.

You're right, the deer numbers are unheard of. You can drive through the park and see deer at almost anytime of the day. At sunset, they're everywhere, like it was a zoo. The park is surrounded by the subarbs and cause plenty of wrecks. Some thinning would definately be good, IMO.

I used to shoot bow at their archery range quite a bit. There were several times where I've had deer running (within range) of the targets. Got me in the mood to bowhunt! lol

Did ya read the part about pack a lunch and watch them because we live in the city? What she didn't say was then we go home and everybody else gets to deal with the problem. Pretty short sighted. It's all about their one hour per day of deer enjoyment not the local residents 24 hours a day of deer related problems.
