Walk along Hunter?

I was wonderin if we are allowed to bring a guy along with us when we pheasant hunt to control his dog... but he doesnt have the Iowa Hunter Safety Course taken for Iowa! Can he still hunt with us.. even tho he doesnt have a license? any help would be nice! thanx guys!

That would be participating in the hunt and per the regulations he must be licensed.

Does he have a hunter safety course from another state? If so most of the time Iowa will honor that he just has to show it when he gets his license

Yup, needs to be licensed. I had a friend who was out with his wife and kids and the CO chastised them for him being the only licensed pheasant hunter. They didn't get written up. I guess the CO used his discretion, which I wouldn't count on.
