the ice is out at the lynxville dam and i can't decide if i should go shed hunting or try to pick up a few eyes.....................................decisions, decisions

Now thats a hard question, Sheds during the day eyes at night, It don't cost anything to go out shed hunting I would be out shedding.
 
Tough choice, although I'd bet there's going to be quite a few "icebergs" coming down over the dam in the next week or so. Nothing more frustrating than trying to position you're line around the ice.
As for me, I'm shed hunting now, and then heading up to Red Wing in a few weeks.

tonite i have a biological fermentation exhibit to go to (wine tasting party) so i'm sure that tomorrow is out.

i am available this sunday...would require driving up saturday afternoon but it's dooable.

Well Mouseboy, you already know where I'm gonna be Tomorrow, soft water this time of year and the saugers are hammering right now. Also I figure I will catch way more fish than I will find sheds!! Come on up Muddy, I'm out for Sunday as I'm going to Green Bay for a bowling tournament, next weekend is out for Mousey as he has to work

NOT MUCH beats a grilled sauger marinted in garlic butter and sprinkled with lemon pepper.
 
I'm not sure about a seat for tomorrow, I'm going with my neighbor and about 5 others. I would talk with mouseboy but he's talking all crazy about marinating horns in a butter sauce over a soft flame???

I would offer ya a seat in the boat tomorrow, but I don't own one, also not sure after your fermentation party you would want to try and get up here at 6 bells.

i will bag the wine party early for saugers and walleyes. what's the driving time from iowa city to wherever you're at?? i'll try to be in the chatroom later this afternoon.
 
I'm goin' to pick up our new 18' Lund tomorrow. Heard Chamberlain has open water, so it'll be time to head west soon. Nothing against you diehard shedders, but there'd be no doubt in my mind...I'd be chasin' the 'eyes
