Warm up coming

Planning on coming back to Iowa this week from Ohio. Was not successful in early November. What are everyine's thoughts on hunting this weekend with the warm up coming? I know it's been cold early this week. What's everyone's experience after a cold snap, food sources or what?

A warm up after extreme cold will usually ramp up deer activity.

I know most people feel extreme cold with get them on their feet and feeding before dark,...which is true.

But, if we get a good melt, I would be on anything green, like a winter wheat field or alfalfa.

Deer are kind of like us, after a warm up we feel like getting out and doing something.
