warm weather.

Do any of you hunters agree that this warm weather has really messed up gun season? We haven't seen many deer in the timbers. I think this warm spell pushed them in to the fence rows and crp fields?

i agree with ya there they are laying tite and in the smaller timbers they dont stay in as big as groups as when it is cold out it really sux

That's what I'm blaming it on. Sure hate to think that I'm just a poor hunter.

It is great to be reminded who controls what around here.

The groups I visited with moved assaults to the CRP fields and isolated brush areas after seeing what the larger timbers were like. Even then it sounds like many groups found it very challenging this year.
