Washing a Hunter's Safety System??

I don't own one but my cousin called me tonight wondering if he should wash his HSS Safety Harness with the seat belt type buckles. Those of you that own one, how do you make them scent free? Do you machine wash and tumble dry?? I had no idea what to tell him....

I wash mine in a bucket with scent-free detergent, and hang it outside for a day and its dry....... works for me!!

I have washed mine many times in our washing machine but I always hang it up to dry. Never had any problems with the buckles, etc.

hand wash and hang it in an evergreen.
