Wasp JackHammer Question?

When shooting 100 gr. Wasp Jackhammers through netting on a blind, is it ok to leave the rubber band on the blade notch closest to the shaft or should I move it onto the blade notch closest to the tip of the broadhead? I'm wondering about the netting causing the blades to deploy. I'm using a Matrix groundblind, and this is my first year bowhunting for turkeys. When I bought the blind, I was told to make sure there was 6-8" between the tip of the arrow and the netting before shooting. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I'm no expert, but I would ditch the netting for turkeys

So far we have had 10-12 birds within 5-10yards of our blind with no netting and none of them spooked. Alot of guys swear by the netting, but from my past experience with turkeys, I honestly don't think you need it.

Buzz,
I don't think the netting is necessary for turkeys either but, if you prefer to use it as a added procaution, you should be alright with the o-ring where it is on the jak hammers. I have shot throught the netting with out problems in the past with them. Good Luck and post some pics when you smack one!
