I have an uncle you has a fairly large farm in Wayne County, near Millerton. Any opinions on the quality of the herd there? I have a chance to hunt his farm but don't know if I should make the trip.
The best thing to do is to go have a look at the farm yourself. There is good hunting in just about every county depending on the particular habitat available in the area.
My guess is that if his farm has trees and cover, you will find some deer!
Ghost nailed it! What better time of year to scout some new ground. Sheds are on the ground, turkeys are gobbling, and if you wait a few weeks you may even find a batch of "shrooms" to take back home!
