Weather-proofing a drop-away

I finally broke down and purchased an Ultra-rest LD this past spring. I've enjoyed shooting it, but as I was shooting last night I began thinking about the freezing weather I'm hoping to be hunting in before too long. What do you guys do about freezing precipitation with your drop-aways? Also, have you notices simply cold temps affecting their performance?

The temp when I shot my buck 2 years ago was 4 degrees and it didn't effect mine that I know of. I've never done anything to mine with rain either. I shoot a TT Shaky Hunter. Haven't had a problem so far.

never heard of weather affecting a drop-away.........
you will be fine

I haven't heard any issues with cold weather and fall aways either. Rests wouldn't sell well if they didn't perform perfectly in all types of weather.
