Was listening around the radio dial this week and got a station in Denver . They were talking about the desperate need for moisture and lack of snow. Then I tuned in Minneapolis and they were talking about the lack of deer and the 3,000 wolf population the state has and how a hunt season was canceled by a washington judge. They also commented on the lack of snow cover up there. Finally, i tuned in Dallas-Fort Worth , and for those of us wanting Spring, there is hope.! They are starting to advertize air conditioning for the Summer. As far as the overall weather pattern--been consistent. Except for a couple times during the past two months--Warm RidgeWest--Cold Trough East. Major Storms along the Coasts.

What hunt was cancelled? On deer or on wolves?
Interesting how one element or a couple can change the dynamics of a deer herd pretty quick. . Bummer to be a serious deer hunter there. Some of my buddies say they used to see tons and now just look at the trees & birds.
