I seen one kinda like that few years ago. The antler itself looked normal only it grew down and out next to his jaw. Looked like he had hair with it curled up on the ends.

Back in 1999 I shot a small buck with my bow that looked almost identical to that. The only reason I shot him was because I thought it was unique looking. At first, I thought the beam was growing out of the side of its face though. When I recovered the deer, I found that he had just broken the beam clean off, but it was still attached by the skin and just dangling down the side of his face... So, that kinda sucked!
