Well weather pattern has completely changed recent weeks. Instead of Ridge West/ Trough East,,, which we had all Winter. Now Trough West/ Ridge East. Gulf Wide Open. Which means,,,,lots a moisture. I am already over 4 inches for the Month with several more possible this week. Nat Weather Service has ,"Flooding", back on their talk. Reminds me of the Springs we had back a few yrs. lakes in the crop fields. Texans were praying for rain. Now praying for it to Stop! Feast or Famine since I have moved to Iowa.

It would be nice to see a little sunshine. Moisture is much appreciated here, but when its not raining it seems to always remain cloudy lately.

Been too cold and wet the last couple of weeks up here…corn is really starting to look tough. Going to need some heat soon. Not by design, but we have none of our food plots in yet, and I'm glad at this point.

Now flood potential a real likelyhood for central and east iowa. Just look at the radar. Continuous surges of moisture from the gulf. Rainin now in SE iowa passing an inch so far today . Closing in on 5 inches for the month. That translates into roughly 150,000 gals!
