What a vacation II

Well when I last left you I thought my bow and gear had been stolen. Well it turns out my bungee cord had broke and they fell out of my flat bed truck. As far as we can figure out a guy in town that I know must have found them seconds after thy slid out. I retraced my path as soon as I noticed they were gone with in a minute or two. Not finding them we assumed they had been stolen at the qwik shop. Well, this guy found out that they were mine and decided to have some fun with me. He talked to me the next day asking if I had found them and if there was a reward. I said hell yes I would pay for my gear back. The next day he couldn't take it any longer and called me and told me that he had all my stuff. Boy did I and I still do feel like an A$$. Well I can't be mad at him, I got all my stuff back and someone had a good laugh at my expense. Lord know that I have pulled my share of stunts on people so what goes around comes around. To make a long story even longer. I hunted ny a$$ off for 10 days and harvested my first deer with a bow last evening. I will try to post a picture and a short story in the Harvest Report section. A happy ending. But man do I feel like an idiot.

I read your first account and must say I'm happy to hear that you got your stuff back.
Why do you feel like an idiot, though? I don't see anything too funny about holding somebody's personal property for ransom!!!!!
BTW, congratulations on your harvest!

So I suppose this means that the guy I drug out of the pawn shop and introduced to the ground hadn't taken your bow. What should I do with the one I got from him?
