What are your top stand enhancements?

What are your most productive stand enhancements? If it’s a mock scrape, how do you build them? Have you changed your strategy/has your strategy evolved? Is there mock that has proven itself over and over?

How many of you have a water source at your stand sites? In regards to water sources, say tubs, have any of you tried anilogics oasis mineral treatment, or banks wild water? Curious if it’s just gimmicky???

Any other must haves to set up the perfect set up?

I use mock scrapes and they work great for shot positioning and even better for camera setups, but my most productive stand enhancements without any question is improving access! If you cant get in and out without the deer knowing it honestly nothing else matters... On top of that the stand isnt any good if it cant be hunted without the deer catching your wind so thats another element that plays into it. If you think about these types of setups rarely occur naturally... A good example of this would be hunting a steep river bluff and coming in from the back side.
I think your better off putting more thought into this instead of any other stand enhancement then the rest is just icing on the cake.

I agree, the best thing is having quiet cover to access my stands and play the wind with stand locations. Don't over hunt, timing is everything.

I don't use scents but do make mock scrapes, location is key like fence rows, trails and field edges with over-hanging pine branches. The
only scent I use in them is my own urine and it works due to their curiosity and territorial instincts.

I’ve got a specific food location in mind with access dialed, it’s in a natural pinch with two large fields on each side, pinch is draw with trees that gets about 30 yards wide at the connection point between the two plots, thinking 150 gal water tank in the middle, scrape post but curious what the best method is for u guys(or just hang a vine) maybe put in a couple pear trees within bow range, just want to make sure I’m not missing something.

Plan on having corn on one side of plot, quarter acre clover in front of stand in pinch, then fall mix on other side.
