I was curious what kind of camo you use? I'm looking for some cheaper stuff but it's still high qulity ($100-$150 range) thanks for any help.

Early season camo I don't worry about too much. There is a lot of foliage on the trees and if you put up a good set up it really doesn't matter what you have on. I go very cheap in this area. If your a hunter on a budget, I would focus on good quality cold weather gear clothes and boots. When the temperature drops you need good gear to be out there as long as you can. For me, underarmour cold gear works amazingly well for lightweight warmth. The cabelas windshear berber fleece is extremely warm and very reasonably priced. Others will have much better suggestions.

The stuff I have works great but I don't spend a ton of money on it. I have underarmour, cabelas berber fleece windshear vest and hoodie. Cabelas MTO50 whitetail extreme parka and bibs. I can hunt any weather with it though. As far as actual pants shirts etc I just Ruessell outdoors stuff.

No cotton!

Camo is very low on the things I NEED list. I spend money on other things first if I was light in those areas.

If I had the money to do it again, I'd go predator....but it's not in the cards for quite some time.

Camo doesn't matter if your carrying scent, worry more about scent control measures and less about the pattern. Movement is what they will pick up more than anything. Keep movement to a minimum and scent controlled and you will be just fine.

As liv mentioned, make sure you have good clothes in the warmth, but deer don't care about camo patterns...

Exactly!!! Well said..

Josh, for early season I always just wear jeans and then a camo long sleeve shirt. When it gets colder I wear my bibs. Like others stated the camo is not all that important. Walmart can get you everything you need then check out orshlens for the bibs. If you have a good stand set up and play the wind you will be good to go.

Early season I just wear the long sleeve camo and pants from kmart. Same as a lot of the light weight stuff from cabelas etc. but a lot cheaper. For late season I have the bone dry cws insulated pants from bass pro, and a similar coat from cabelas. My opinion go with store brand like red head or cabelas brand, a lot less than the really advertised stuff and made by the same people. Biggest thing imo is to get something to keep you warm and DRY. (goretex) Pattern is not that big of a deal, they all work, and focus on scent control.
