What do you do with your deer carcass?

My garbage collector will not pick up dead animals and our county landfill will not accept dead animals either. Dumping on the side of the road in ditches even in the country is not allowed either and when people do this it just gives the anti-hunters ammo. Most of you know that I skin and bone my deer in the woods where I kill it and leave the carcass behind. What do you do with yours?

I have 7 acres at home so I dump them and feed the yotes. But have also taken them back to my hunting spot and dumped them. Crows, yotes, etc even mice chew on them.

I butcher my deer next door at my neighbor's shop that he built on to his garage. We just throw the bones in the back yard and his dog cleans it up. The only thing left is the spinal column. The dog gains a bit of weight during the fall and winter, but slims back down by summer.

Feed the dogs....and the Blue Jays and the Gray Jays...and the Ravens....and the dogs some more.

I put them in the woods on my property, but I also take one rib cage annually and hang it in a tree in my backyard.

The rib cage is the best birdfeeder in the world and it is free and wont attract mice like other bird feed does. During the winter months you will get tons on birds eatin on the thing throughout the winter.

If it is late season, I enjoy hanging it from a tree out back about 2 feet off the ground and sit out on the back porch in the evening and pile up as many yotes as I can. It's lots of fun

Depends, If I cut'em up on the farm, they go out to the back 40, but if I bring them into town, they go to the land fill for no charge. There is a 10' X 30' plastic lined refuse container that they go into and when that is full, they bury the bag with the deer in the landfill.
