WHAT HAS BECOME OF.........................

does anyone have any information on what has become of this buck(the midwest monster). was it ever revealed as to what state the sheds were found in? was it ever seen the following year after the sheds were found?is it still alive? it seems the buck has dropped off the face of the earth, i haven't heard the first thing about it since i read the article in north american whitetail. so if anyone has any info please feel free to share it?

No one has seen it or shot it but, there was a big nontypical taken and the fella that got it swears it is the same deer. Can a deer that is a huge typical one year be nontypical the next?....

i wouldn't think that a deer with a typical rasck like this would be a non-typical the next! possibly if he was hit with a slug the year the sheds were found, it could've been one this year or maybe some other type of injury but big bucks like this just don't have near misses they either go there whole life without incident or they just get killed. also the closest thing to a non-typical point on the sheds was a 7/8" long point between the right G2 and G3! but who knows? thanx moose!

My uncle lives close to where the deer lives and he said that the deer was around and the DNR was keeping tabs on it because they were afraid that someone was going to poach it. The people in this area have been after him pretty hard.
