Its a baby Sasquatch. I remember seeing a few of those around Jasper County back in the day!
 
Gonna guess badger also. Alot of times when I see them hunting they got the tail up, doing that junk yard dog trot. Although I get pics of raccoons that have their tail missing also. How that happens who knows?
 
I was leaning towards a badger as well. Interestingly, the downward camera angle was caused by a huge oak tree falling during the wind storm last week. The oak fell over the tree that the camera was on and bent it downward. Luckily the camera was okay.
 
100% coon there. To tall to be a badger. Not right coloring on back or shape. Badgers are very low profile and more stalky looking. Stubby tail coon.
 
i clicked on badger pics and i still say badger because of the black front legs.Coons legs are almost always grey just like the body.that animal has black front legs.Racoons also have thin front legs.

That there is a young Southern Speckled Jack-a-lope mixed with a Arabian Blue Footed tree Toad. Very rare and reclusive.
