well tonight was only my second night out. seen a few does and a spike bout 100yds out. then the spike took off and went running past where i was sitting so i looked thru the binocs and spotted a big buck in a thicket. the does were heading my way so i sat and waited. they ended up bedding bout 10yds in front of my tree but never seen the buck again. Wished i would of watched him better to see where he wondered off to.

should i stay sitting where i was and see if i catch a glimpse again or try moving in closer to where i saw him

I would say if you can have does and smaller bucks walk by your stand I would keep it in that location. Everything is going to start to change by next weekend. Try hitting the antlers together over the next 2 weeks because those does you had in front of you will likely have a buck behind them.
