Kinda slowon this forum. Thought i'd start a fun post. What is your fletching pattern/setup. I usually go with a 10 inch white dip and 3 white feathers. How about every one else? Just ordered a dozen with orange/whit for the last week ofthe year.

I like to dip and crest mine also, but got lazy this season.

Usually try for the white dip as well. White 5" feathers with one red barred is a favorite to. Usually have a different crest every dozen I do. It's a nice way to pass the off season.

Will be making another doz Legacy 2018's dipped and crested for the IBA Spring Banquet auction.

I just fletched up a dozen with a 6" white vinyl arrow wraps with a buck skull and "Aim Hard" printed on them. I fletched them with 2 orange and 1 white 4" Quick Spin vanes.

6 in. white wrap with 4 in white vanes. This year was the first time I used that much white. I was amazed when I let the arrow go on my deer this year, how well I could see the arrow..... from release to impact.

IOWAWHITETAIL ARROW WRAPS....what else?

presently with duravanes, but i may eventually go to blazers

my bad

3 of my arrows have iowawhitetail arrow wraps, and my lucky arrow has the old EZ wrap. sorry.

What kind of glue to you use to attach the vanes/feathers onto the arrow wrap? I'm assuming it's the same as applying to a bare shaft?

when gluing fletchings to a bare carbon shaft i use special glue. goat tuff or bond tite. when gluing to a arrow wrap i use normal old fletch tite. must make sure everything is clean either way you go. i clean off the shaft, the wrap, and the bottom of the feather before any glue touches them.

Have any of you tried the fletching tape bohning sells?

It works great on my carbons! It doesn't adhere to alum to well unless you have dipped them with paint. Then it works great. I use the tape all the time now, just a dab of glue on the ends of the feathers for good measure and you have a bond as good as glue. Cuts down my fletching time to about 30 min for a doz arrows with just one clamp. The bond is solid and I haven't lost a feather since using the tape.

IW arrow wrap (flames) with 3 trueflight barred feathers white and black, white nocks on an X7 shaft. Silvertip has me talked into the Easton ACC arrows for next fall, The will be the same configuration.

Cedar shaft with glued on turkey feathers both of a wide variety of colors and patterns. Personal cresting and feathers burnt to 5" shield.

What's a carbon?

I tried something different this year and had great results. As usual, I used IW wraps, but I used two 4" Duravanes and two 2" Blazers. The weight is the same as three vanes but the advantage is I get more spin on my arrow. At close yardage I can't tell much difference, but on long distance shots there's a world of difference.
