Where are all the morels????????????

Am I missing something! I have only found a hand full of mushrooms. Is anyone else having problems. Maybe this weekend but the grass is going to get too high if its not already!!

I've checked every bar on the south side of DSM haven't found a single one, I'll keep looking

Quality Deer Manager.....I don't know how far to the West of me you live, but in the extreme South East corner we had a terrible year for shrooms. During the time for finding the smaller greys it was hot and very, very dry. Then when we finally did get the much needed rain it turned off too cold. There were isolated cases of people finding some but over all it was quite a poor year.

The kids and I found one open ridge top and picked about 40 tall yellows, many of which were starting to dry out.

The next morning in the Turkey blind I was wishing I hadn't eaten quite as many as I did. I think I know what labor pains feel like!

nope qdmer not out of tags, i got one second season and still working on the 4th season bird. I got one 2 hour final left then tukey hunting!!!!! at 4:15 today im a free man!!!!!

unless you are talking about mushroom tags lol then im completely out, thats why i havent been picking them

I have heard of people having good luck on the islands. The guy I talked to saw someone bring in 80 lbs. one afternoon then went out and got 20+ lbs. in the same areas the next day. Again, these were found on river islands.

We found about three grocery sacks full. Mostly on north facing slopes. Everthing we hunted facing south was slim pickins.

I've found 13lbs in the last 2 days. Most of mine were under elm trees that had ALL of there bark on or in prickly ash brush.
