Where did the big boys go???

I was wonderng if any of you have noticed that the mature bucks have disappeared from the cameras/area recently? I had consistent traffic with nice bucks all of Nov till the 22nd then poof, no more. I know the rut is winding down, but I am kind of shocked that they flat out left the area. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing something similar? Thanks!

next weekend is shotgun its crazy but they know it and have started to hide. This seems to happen every year like clock work. Almost like they know the guns will be in the woods come next weekend.

I'm in the same boat. It happens to me every year on the property i currently hunt on. We have picked bean fields but the deer leave to go to cornfields about a half mile north of me. They would prefer a picked cornfield over a picked beanfield around here. A friend that hunts the property north of me says they are all in the standing corn up there.
