Where's the deer?

Just wondering if anyone else has found it slow going with seeing deer so far. I have hunted each of my spots that I know are havens without hardly seeing anything. One of my DNR friends blames it on the full moon and warm temps. I also have a lot of standing corn where I hunt but have had that before and it has never been this slow! It's almost been like getting up on Christmas morning and finding no presents under the tree.

I have only went out once but I noticed we have a bumper crop of acorns and back in the woods on the oak ridges were slaughtered with deer sign. I think that is where I would be for now.

when sitting over beans the other night the deer actually stayed in the edge of the field and ate acorns...didn't touch the beans. The next few nights I sat under acorns, and could shoot to a different bean plot. Killed a doe in the beans and one in the acorns the next morning.....

Deer don't usually touch the beans this time of year, unless you have some forage beans that i planted that are still green. They are awesome.

Saw my first buck within shooting hrs last night while in the stand, on a cut bean field. Only deer I've seen during shooting hours.

Im not seeing any deer in the standing brown beans,But the bean fields that have been combined are full of them.Im seeing them in the oak timbers also.

I dont have to see alot of deer,I only need to see the right one.

The deer I've been seeing are hitting the standing corn pretty hard. I have seen a few deer hitting the beans but not as good as the corn by me.
