which sticks?

Wanting to get some climbing sticks to pack in and out with me. Muddy or lone wolfs and y?

Buy a set of Lone Wolf's, and a couple of Muddy singles. Best of both worlds that way. I like using the Muddy's for my top two sticks. Gets ya just about anywhere you want to go.

So you pack both kinds then? Do u carry all 4 lw sticks plus a couple muddy's?

I use 5 LoneWolf sticks, they stack perfectly and carry nicely.

That is exactly what I do. I'm vertically challenged (not quite 5'10'' )
I cannot get as high in the tree with just using LW sticks. And, I like how the Muddy sticks have pegs on both sides. Sometimes makes it easier to hang a stand when your feet are at the same level. As long as you get the straps tight, everything packs together nicely.

if possible, could you post a pic of how you pack these together? i am intrigued by this and if they pack together nicely, i would add a single muddy stick to my lone wolfs.

I lay the LW sticks on their side, then wrap the Muddy sticks in my coat, or a shirt. I lay the Muddy Sticks on top of the LW sticks. WKP Todd has a good video on cinching things up, which is key in keeping things quiet when walking in. If someone knows where to find the link, please add it.
