Whisker Bicuit vs. Traditional Arrow Rests?

What do you guys think about whisker biscuits? It seems like they may cause too much friction and contact and have a large effect on arrow speed and accuracy? I love their convenience but is the convenience worth tampering with accuracy and speed? Also, do vanes or feathers shoot better through a bicuit?

Ya know, when the WB came out I was one of them guys that bashed the concept before I tried it. Then I went to the bow shop to put on a new rest one day and the owner of the shop talked me into trying a WB. I had my doubts but let him put one on my bow any way and was almost affriad and embaresed to let my buddies see it. Know I am glad I did it cause its the best hunting rest on the market, in my opinoin. If you want a hunting bow, Its the only rest to have. 100% fale safe, and I can asure you it does not affect arrow flight. I tell eveybody to get one.

Its a no brainer on my booklet of hunting requirements. I too was skeptical when they first hit the market, but figured nothing ventured- nothing gained. I tried one, and still have the same one I started with. They are IMO the absolute perfect rest for hunting. Simple and effective. As far as losing speed or accuracy??? Any loss of speed would be so minute you would not be able to tell, they are easy to tune for accuracy and stay where you put them.

Go get one and you wont regret it.

The WB is awesome! Everything everyone here has written is true. I shoot vanes through mine for the last three seasons. The loss of arrow speed isn't noticeable, I still get pass throughs on my deer. For a hunting bow it can't be beat.

I agree with everyone above, for hunting there isn't a better rest IMO. The fact that you can nock an arrow and keep it there and not worry about it falling off is great. Go for it.

Thanks for the advice guys. I think WB are sucha great idea for bowhunters because it adds that little extra versatility like, maybe taking a shot while tilting the bow somewhat, and any extra versatility for a bowhunter is nice since, in my eyes, the buck still has the advantage
