Anyone try one of these rests yet?I bought one on ebay the other day and it hasnt got here yet so Im just trying to get some opinions on them. Also Ive had some people tell me these can be modified by putting o notch in the side so your arrow slips in easier, anyone tried this? There was also some mention of cutting the whiskers back for better fletching clearance. Thanks!!!

Horst, I love mine...great for me. I would have bought the newest model though. I bought last years drop tine (carbon). This rest was noisy on the draw due to my camo finish (Beamon ics camo hunters) and I was disappointed until I tried a normal black finished arrow and there was no noise. So I will hunt with black.

Also put a small glob of fletch tight at the beginning of each vien or feather. This keep the rest from tearing them up. If you don't they will come off in no time. I did it and they stay on great.

With these you don't have to have a cock feather and it holds the arrow on perfect. Mine have never slipped out or off.

Got mine yesterday and spent the morning sighting it in.I have some fine tuning to do yet but I think im gonna like it.Mines pretty quiet with my black Goldtips.Im not grouping real good with it yet but like i said, Ive still got some adjusting to do.With that, my string whiskers and limb savers I think im all set up for this year, next thing id like to try is a pendalum sight but that will have to wait till next year.
