White Spruce disease

Have a tree planting I did maybe 12 yrs ago that is looking great or I thought. Noticed a white spruce last year with yellowish needles and thought probably just random tree dying. Took a ride the other day and noticed a bunch of others are starting to turn as well. Yellow needles closer to the trunk and still green on the edges. I emailed the forester for ideas but figured I’d ask here as well. Hoping it’s treatable whatever it is! Would suck big time if they all died after taking care of them all these years!

Wow, haven’t seen that before. Bummer!

I’ve planted several potted white spruce in mid MO and none really made it. The BHS seems to have more vigor (and can survive MO humid summers better it seems).
