Whitetail Insurance?

Just curious if any of those stolen mounts had insurance on them. I'm guessing homeowners insurance would cover it. What's the value on something like the Independence Buck?

I was told the Independence buck was not insured.

How do you put a price on something like that anyway? It's not exactly like you can take the settlement money and use it to buy a replacement.

I'm a claims adjuster by trade and yes coverage is afforded under most standard homeowners policies-- provided you have personal property coverage. Speaking from experience the value placed on a lost tropy is typically the taxidermist's costs. But as we all know that this amount doesn't come close the the true value!!
