WI Bear Issues

I'm originally from up in West Central WI. Just got word from one of my buddies up there that he had his second camera ripped of the tree by a bear. First one was damaged beyond repair, second one is still working. Told him maybe its time to weld up a bear guard for it.

It's the oil from your hands that they like !
Build a box out of wood or plastic and put it around your camera , this is what we do at all our Bear sites and they do nothing but lick the outside of the camera box now (make sure you lock it to the tree also) ....
