anybody catch this monday night? family from massena iowa was on wife swap. they eat a totally organic, RAW meat diet.
 
I didn't watch it but it has been on every radio station today. It was nice to hear ABC made Iowa sound like a bunch of hillbillies.
 
I saw just a little of it and gersdorf is right they made Iowa look like Hickville. I do not think I have ever met someone who only eats raw meat let alone lives in Iowa.

I've had old army buddies come back and visit and were seriously surprised we had the same stores and restaurants that they have back home. AMAZING!!!!

Butter and clay is correct! For those that didn't see the show the woman also needed a pair of scissors to trim her arm pits and her legs had more hair on them than most guys. I also thought it was interesting how they mentioned california one or two times when talking about the family from california but every other sentence about the family from iowa made sure the viewers knew where they were from. If people thought we had a tough time recruiting and retaining well qualified people to live and work in iowa it just got a !@#$ of a lot tougher.
 
Who cares, let em think that. leaves more room for us to deer hunt n less houses. Hell I'm proud of all 4 of my teeth and 12 toes and I bet I am a better shot than any califorinian. Get R' Done!

I saw the whole show. I have never been afraid to tell anyone that I am from Iowa...until lastnight. I was saddened to think that this family of hillbillies is going to give our nation the impression that ALL Iowans are like these people.

Should I get a rental car w/ out Iowa plates for vacation this year?
 
I saw the show. The lady cleaned the floor with her tongue. U local Iowans have nothing to be ashamed of, because u have some of the best deer hunting in the country right now. Everyone I know from Iowa are great, even if all you eat is raw venison. I used to think you all drove John Deere's.

We were going to watch it but the missus has a baby in the oven so didn't think the raw meat eating parts would be good to watch...
 
I have never have seen the show till that night.The part where she shaved her legs and underarms was nasty.I don't even want to think what the rest of the forest looks like! Reminded me of when I was stationed in Germany.
 
Its all true my frieds. Only i wouldnt discrace a redneck or a hillbilly by putting those people in that category. They are just plain ass freaks. Just remember what the good lady from iowa said GERMS ARE OUR FRIENDS GOD WOULDNT PUT ANYTHING ON THE EARTH TO HURT YOU. what about e coli or salemanilla. She made the tree huggin fairy lady look normal from a couple weeks past. Oh yeah im hooked in to watching it, it reminds me of how good i got it.
 
slow night, cant believe this I missed a few years ago....these people lived about 8 miles from me but then moved. they had our telephone and internet service and they actually seemed like normal people. nothing like bringing back a old post from the grave.

Theres backwood hillbillys in every state, so for the people from other states that saw it and thinks thetes none of them in there state, needs to get out more
