Wind?

With the wind the way it is would it be a bad idea to sit somewhere? I can barely stand but I still kind of want to go out.

EDIT: I'll prob only be able to get to a fence row to sit down or something due to my leg.

Today is my only day to go out for the next week or so and with starting a new job in a few weeks my time is going to be limited for a while. You will find me in a tree swaying with the wind this evening...

Stay home. You don't want to aggravate your leg and make the healing process take longer. There is still plenty of season left.

Prob one of the worst days to hunt ( I hate warm, windy days in early October :(

Go catch a football game and relax. Better days coming, but when I was your age, I was the same way :)

Stay home and hang out. I fractured my foot in 3 places right before turkey season 2 or 3 years ago waited 4 weeks and then went hunting. I ended up hurting it worse by doing that. Instead of 6 to 8 weeks to heal it took 9 to 10 weeks! STAY HOME! PLENTY OF SEASON LEFT!

Not saying a guy can't get lucky in the wind but there is nothing I hate worse than hunting when it is this windy. The deer are on super high alert and over all movement just isn't very good. My wife and kids are leaving for the weekend and I Probibly won't even hunt due to the wind and heat......sucks
