Wind

For those of you who hunt the western side of the state, I have a question. I've hunted in the Loess Hills a few times this year and a lot last year. Is it alwasy so windy in the hills? It's really driving me nuts lol. 9 out of 10 times seems likes theres always a strong wind and gusts of 20+.

You still have to focus on the high ground, ridges and hilltop fields even though the wind is worse, it is consistant. If you try to hunt the protected areas it will swirl so bad everything will bust you.
