Well it's almost 11:30 pm. I got back from hunting spot a short time ago. I arrowed a buck with just a few minutes of daylight left. I called up Hogie to help track him and he brought out His boy Sam and a friend from Virginia. After much searching in the dark we finally found blood and started tracking. We realized after a few hundred yards that we were pushing him so we quit and will resume the search in the morning. I'm certain I made a mortal shot but will know more tommorrow. Hopefully we will find him piled up. Wish me luck........

I hope the coyotes are not as thick as they are around here. Any deer I've left overnight is usually a skeleton by the time we find him in the morning. I do hope you find him and in one piece.
