I just wanted to congradulate everyone on there awesome harvests. I have not been on for along time and it would take me all night to post on all the threads. I can't believe all the great bucks harvested. I can't seem to get the job done. I've only had two chances at mature bucks. The first one busted me while i was getting ready for an afternoon hunt and the other one spotted me after I drew back on him and stopped behind a shrub and stared me down until I had to let off. It has been a good year for Iowawhitetailers! I can't seem to close the deal this year either. I had one bruiser in at 10 yards but he wouldn't clear the brush. I passed (for the second time) on a good 8 with long brows tonight, now I'm having second thoughts. I'll be back at it in the morning...Good luck to everyone still trying!
