YEAR TO YEAR GROWTH?

I have seen growth charts on Whitetail antlers in the past and thought someone might post them. I was lucky enough to have the landowner hand me a 63 1/2 inch shed from last year and was wondering what it might score this year?

its hard to tell what it could score, it all depends on the genetics and if that deer is young or old. i do know that it will be somewhere between 60 - 90 inches

I guess what I was looking for was a rough percentage of growth between years. I know between 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 there is a big jump. I would guess this is a 3 1/2 year old deer...on average(if there is such a thing)how much would they grow? Would 10 to 15 percent growth sound about right?

i guess if he is around a 63.5 inch shed, that is about a 144-145 class buck with an 18 inch shed, so i would say he would be at least in the 150s next year, possibly going into the 160s. I think you are right on the 10-15 percent growth on average, if there is a such a thing

goodluck in tagging him, he should be easily a shooter
