So yesterday afternoon I had one more stand to hang on a small piece of ground I picked up. I'm carrying a ladder stand and a pack full of tools, and something told me to look up. All I saw were tines, so I fumbled around to get the phone out of my pocket quick to snap this pic. The stare down lasted about 5 minutes, before he busted. He is a solid buck, not a monster but mid 150's.

That's a neat pic. Looks like a solid buck. Keep in mind where you jumped him and what the surroundings were. Every situation and sighting can be learned from and analyzed IMO. If you're interested in hunting that deer?

He definitely makes my "hit list". My first encounter with him, I haven't had a camera up until last night. Just closed the deal a few days ago. From what I saw of him, he's at least 4.5 yrs old. Definitely a shooter, if I get the opporunity.

Done. :way: His name is HOM, and to make JW feel better I'll make it short for Home Boy. Hopefully I'll get some more pics of him here before seson starts.
