Youth season tactics?

What tactics would be most productive during the youth season Apr 7 - 15.

Spend a week before the season driving around and scouting. Try to locate an easy-to-get-to field where they have been seen strutting and that is relative close to a roost area and set up with lots of dekes... :grin:

Like Thomas said, I set up the kids on a feeding area, where they fly down to at first light. We dont do any calling, but always put out my old beat up, full strut stuffed bird. He's so ugly they can't resist breaking away and running over to beat the crap out of him. It's worked every year. It's great they made the youth season longer now.
