Id “guess” be more lenient if flexible in schedule. If u wanna “get by” for a year- go get a cart of pelletized lime. Then- do ag lime in winter. That’s actually exactly what I’d do in ur shoes. Pell lime is quick, cheap and need to spread less. Works fast. Only good for one year. Then, ag lime, plan it out... lot more needed but lasts a long time. Takes a while to break down.
