My brother killed one last Saturday. I killed one this afternoon. It's been a good year, and a long wait for me. This is my 1st buck since 2011. The wait was worth it. I was hell on 2.5 year old 8's in high school and college. Then I killed a mid 130's 3.5 year old 9 in '11. This should beat that by a bit.
From when I saw him to when I shot couldn't have been better. He jumped a fence into the hay field I was sitting over about 50 yards away, and walked broadside into my 20 yard window, and stopped on his own. I took out both lungs, and he was dumping blood out both sides when he left the field. He only went 100 yards, but that was enough for him to get to the bottom of the ditch.
