Here are a few from the past few years. 3 pounds 3 ounces from 2006 The largest one here was 3 pounds from 2010 Another one from 2010 that went 3.2 pounds A couple more that my son and I caught this past spring....

That is a good eating size. We have to throw back any under 12 inches on the local COE lake here.

We will shoot him if we get the chance, because we only have around 140 acres to hunt and are surrounded by "dog hunters" that shoot whatever the dogs are running when it comes out, they do not care about the size regs we are under...just shoot first and if not legal just sneak it out.. I wish...

What your seeing is jpeg artifacts in the image. I have been doing photoshop work for over 20 years...photo restoration, forensics, and etc. Jpeg artifacts are common in jpeg images that have been resized and plus I re-saved this image again after adjusting the lightness which will contribute...

Definitely a drop tine. I ran it through Photoshop and lightened the shadows to reveal the truth.
