    Mineral Site ?

My CO told me that as long as its covered and the deer cant get to it I was good. Some old galvanized metal with stakes to hold it down works pretty good for me.

    CWD meeting

Not a lot. Sounds like the whole fence issue is a joke. Now it's headed to the Iowa Supreme Court, but that will take till next fall for a ruling,if it don't go to a different court. The 5 year quarantine will be up the winter of 2017 so if they do have to put the fence back up it will only be...

    Non Resident Youth

There are debates about every big deer shot, that don't make it true.

    Non Resident Youth

It's a little different, residents can already kill 3 bucks in Iowa if they own a farm! There is a reason they stopped the non resident doe tags during bow season too. Lots of guys coming during the rut( to shoot a doe)! And trust me I know we have plenty of local poachers too, so I'm not just...

    Ants in my Trail Cams

I just spray the outside of the camera. With ant spray. I only have to do it once a year and no more problems. And I have had a bushnell camera ruined by ants!

    Starting new plots. Question...?

If the hay was clover or alfalfa I would just mow them when they need it for now. Then I would spray half of it in July and put in Paul's brassica blend. Then around Labor Day I would spray the other half and plant Paul's rye mix. Then I would rotate them every year.

OK, here's an off, well, "on" the wall question...

If it has two pheasants in the foreground the bucks and background is the same as old rivals 2. Larry talks about it on his website. It just says 1999 habitat stamp on the name of it.

    Allamakee CWD Meetings

I watched a cwd show drurys put on a couple years ago. They were testing for cwd in live deer in wyoming. Apparently it can be done!

    Allamakee CWD Meetings

I'm not for or against, but what are they going to do if some of these 14-18% test positive? Wisconsin has already learned that shooting all the deer don't work. Where will the killing of the deer stop. I just don't see them stopping if any of the deer test positive. I went to the davis county...

Can that small of an area handle 150-200 more deer killed? I know in our area if you killed 150-200 deer you would be lucky to have any left.

    Killing locust tree's

We had good luck just drilling a couple small holes in them and pouring tordon in the holes.
