Morning Hunts

I was just wondering if anyone was having any luck in the morning? If so are you sitting quiet or tickling the horns and some soft grunting? Thinking about going out in the morning with the cooler weather we are havin. Any info would bne great.

Nothing really, this morning around 8 seen deer in cut corn and beans. Might be this colder weather...

I sat 3 mornings in a row last wed, thur, fri and saw 11 different bucks between those two sits. They were all small...nothing mature but there were deer up and moving. Seen about the same number of does. Everything seemed to shut off at about 8 or a little after tho.

I enjoy hunting mornings. Easier to track in the daylight and like watching the woods come to life. I shot my first doe of the season the morning of October 8. She was coming off a cut corn field into my stand.

I caught a couple of decent bucks on camera between 10am and 11:30am between last Thursday and Sunday. Southern Iowa.
